What is planned?
NOTICE OF CONSULTATION FOR THE IPSWICH BOROUGH COUNCIL DRAFT LOCAL VALIDATION LIST 2025
Ipswich Borough Council is undertaking public consultation on the Ipswich Borough Council Draft Local Validation List 2025.
The Ipswich Borough Council Draft Local Validation List 2025 sets out the information that Ipswich Borough Council will require to be submitted prior to a planning application being validated.
Ipswich Borough Council’s current validation requirements are undergoing review to reflect changes in planning legislation, policy and guidance.
The Ipswich Borough Council Draft Local Validation List 2025 will be published for a four-week public consultation period commencing on 18th August 2025 at 9:00am, until 11.45pm on 15th September 2025.
The Council is seeking comments on the content of the Draft Local Validation List 2025.
Inspection of documents:
The following documents are available for public inspection:
- Ipswich Borough Council Draft Local Validation List 2025;
- Public Consultation Notice;
- Consultation Form;
- Equality Impact Assessment;
- Strategic Environmental Assessment Screening Report; and
- Habitats Regulations Assessment.
The documents relating to the above consultation are available for inspection on the Council’s website (www.ipswich.gov.uk/currentconsultations).
The documents listed above are also available for inspection at the following locations:
- Grafton House Reception, 15-17 Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2DE (Mon-Fri 9:00am to 5:00pm) – by appointment only (see arrangements below)*;
- Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2BX (Mon to Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm); and
- Ipswich County Library, Northgate Street, Ipswich, IP1 3DE (Mon, Weds, Thurs 9:00am to 6:00pm; Tues, Fri 9:00am to 7:00pm; Saturdays 8.30am to 5:00pm and Sundays 10:00am to 4:00pm).
