Notice is hereby given that the Council has received the following applications which need to be advertised for the reasons set out below:

L0006.25, The Chapel, 13 The Mall, Romford, Listed building consent for refurbish and redecorate the cupola, replace dormer window on the front elevation of The Chapel with a new purpose made timber window and painted white to match existing building.

The development is in a Conservation Area. The development relates to a Listed Building.

P0859.25, Milford Heaton, Grange Road, Romford, Re-tiling of the roof.

The development is in a Conservation Area.

P0897.25, Car Park, Como Street, Romford, Full Planning Application for the construction of a residential led mixed-use scheme comprising 138 residential dwellings (Use Class C3) and flexible commercial / community floorspace together with public realm enhancements including hard and soft landscaping and associated access, servicing, vehicle and cycle parking and refuse and recycling stores.

This is a major development because the number of dwellings to be provided are 10 or more.

P0936.25, 8 Reed Pond Walk, Romford, Ground and first-floor rear extension.

The development is in a Conservation Area.

P0939.25, Neath Oak, Orange Tree Hill, Romford, Extension of existing drop kerb

The application is in the Green Belt and does not accord with the provisions of the development plan.

P0945.25, Drapers Academy, Settle Road, Romford, Erection of new fencing and gates to frontage of Drapers’ Academy and Drapers’ Maylands Primary School, along the boundary with Settle Road.

The application is in the Green Belt and does not accord with the provisions of the development plan.

P0954.25, Beverley Bungalow, North Road, Romford, Erection of a new, replacement day care centre, along with the construction of 5 x 3bed dwelling houses with associated hard and soft landscaping following the demolition of existing day care centre and ancillary outbuilding.

The development is in a Conservation Area. The application is in the Green Belt and does not accord with the provisions of the development plan.

P0982.25, Brookside, Heaton Grange Road, Romford, Variation of condition No.3 (Approved Plans) of planning permission ref: P0067.25 dated 25/03/2025 to permit a change to approved materials (Two storey) front extension, single storey side extension, single storey rear extension, loft conversion with rear dormer, replacement roof tiles, windows and doors.

The development is in a Conservation Area.
