Proposal:

The phased winning and working of minerals (Limestone) comprising a northerly and easterly lateral extension to the existing quarry void, the construction of internal haul roads, the erection of earthen screening bunds, the storage of overburden and the progressive restoration of the Site to biodiversity afteruses and all associated ancillary development.

Location:

Lands at, and directly to the north and east of Cleggan Quarry, Garturn Road, Kellagho, Belcoo, Co. Fermanagh.

A public drop-in event for the above proposed development shall be held at Lakeland Community Care Healthy Living Centre, 1 Lattone Road, Belcoo, Co Fermanagh BT93 5AQ on Thursday 28th August 2025 between 5pm and 7pm.

Comments or questions on the project can be submitted to Quarryplan for a period of up to four weeks (up until 5pm on Thursday 25th September 2025) via email, telephone or in writing using the details provided above.

If the prospective applicant submits an application there will be an opportunity to make representations on that application to the Council, or as the case may be the Department, at a stage within the planning process.
