What is planned?

The Town & Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended) and The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013
Regulation 7(2) (as amended) - Notice of Pre-Application Consultation Public Event

Apatura DC Project 11 Ltd give notice of their intention to submit a planning application for the proposed development as follows:
“Erection of an AI Data Centre Campus with a 200MW demand utility capacity, with car parking, landscaping, roads, access and associated works” on land at West of Hermiston House Road, Currie, EH14 4AG.

Further information on the proposed development will be available at two public exhibitions, being held as follows: 15:00-20:00 on 28th August 2025 at The National Robotarium, Heriot-Watt University, Boundary Road North, Third Gait, Edinburgh EH14 4AS
and
15:00-20:00 on 2nd October 2025 at The National Robotarium, Heriot-Watt University, Boundary Road North,Third Gait, Edinburgh EH14 4AS

Comments should be submitted to the prospective applicant at the address above by Thursday 25th September 2025.

Please note, comments on these proposals are to the prospective applicant and not formal representations to City of Edinburgh Councila subsequent planning application is submitted there will be a further opportunity to make formal representations on the application to City of Edinburgh Council during the statutory notification period.
