What is planned?

PLANNING ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2011 AND THE PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT

MANAGEMENT) REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2015 (AS AMENDED 2025)

PROPOSAL: Proposed mixed use development comprising industrial units and housing with

associated public space, landscaping, creation of two accesses from Craigmore Road, car parking and ancillary site works



LOCATION: Lands at Craigmore Road, adjacent Nos. 22-26 Craigmore Road and opposite Meadowbrook Park, Newry



WEBSITE: A pre-application community consultation website for the proposal will be live from 21 August to 21 September 2025 inclusive. The website can be viewed at

www.bellrolston.com

under the Community Consultations section which will display details of the proposed development and provide an opportunity to view information about the project and provide feedback. This is in addition to the information event already held at Bessbrook Community Centre, 8 Mill Road, Bessbrook, in August 2024.

Comments must be received by 21 September 2025. Further information relating to these proposals can be obtained from bell | rolston, The Corner House, 183-185 Ballyclare Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 5JP Co. Antrim.



Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to Newry Mourne and Down District Council. If a formal planning application is submitted to the Council, advertisement and neighbour notification will take place and there will be an opportunity to make representations to the Council at that time.
