Regulations 2013 Regulation 7(2) (as amended) - Notice of Pre-Application Consultation Public Event

Apatura DC Project 2 Ltd give notice of their intention to submit a planning application for the proposed development as follows:
“Erection of an AI Data Centre Campus with a 550MW demand utility capacity with ancillary Battery Energy Storage (to be consented via separate Section 36 application to the ECU), car parking, landscaping, roads, access and associated works”
on Land at Ravenscraig Regeneration Area, Wishaw, Motherwell, ML1 1NR.
Further information on the proposed development will be available at two public exhibitions, being held as follows:
15:00-20:00 on 1st September 2025 at
Wellbeing Academy, New College Lanarkshire - Motherwell Campus, 1 Enterprise Way, Wishaw, Motherwell ML1 2TX
and
15:00-20:00 on 6th October at
Wellbeing Academy, New College Lanarkshire - Motherwell Campus, 1 Enterprise Way, Wishaw, Motherwell ML1 2TX

Comments should be submitted to the prospective applicant at the address above by Monday 29th September.
Please note, comments on these proposals are to the prospective applicant and not formal representations to North Lanarkshire Council. a subsequent planning application is submitted there will be a further opportunity to make formal representations on the application to North Lanarkshire Council during the statutory notification period.
