Notice Under Article 15 (1A) of Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 of an Application For Subsequent Consent Accompanied By An Environmental Statement
Proposed development at: OS Parcel 3371 Adjoining Wendlebury Parish Boundary, Chesterton (25/00284/F)
I give notice that Tritax Symmetry Oxford Ltd have applied to Cherwell District Council on 4 February 2025 for planning permission for “Full planning application for the erection of employment development within Class B8 and B2 of the Town and Country Planning Use Classes Order 1987, including ancillary Class E(g)(i) (offices), accessed from the existing A41 signalised access and Tritax Park estate road, associated site infrastructure including gatehouses, external service yards, sprinkler tanks and pump houses, vehicle parking (HGV, car, motorcycle and cycle); landscaping including permanent landscaped mounds, amenity open space, sustainable drainage details, foul pump house, energy centre (details of energy generation reserved for future approval), Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), site catering area, and external plant.”
Planning permission 25/00284/F constitutes EIA development and was accompanied by an Environmental Statement. The proposal constitutes “major” development and is a departure from the Local Plan.
Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans, the Environmental Statement and other documents submitted with it via the Council’s website. Copies are also available to view at Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD between the hours of 8.45am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice.
Members of the public may obtain copies of the application and the Environmental Statement by prior appointment from Framptons, 42 North Bar Street, Banbury, OX16 0TH.
There may be a cost involved for obtaining a copy of the Environmental Statement.
Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should do so via the online Planning Register. Alternatively, please email planning@cherwell-dc.gov.uk, or write to the Assistant Director for Planning and Development, Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD by 13th September 2025. Please quote the application number 25/00284/F and clearly state whether it is in objection, support or comment on the application.
