App No: 25/0553 – Listed building consent for the replacement of shop front (part retrospective) at 164 Commercial Street.
App No: 25/0558 – Removal of existing shop front and installation of new shop front at 165 Commercial Street.
App No: 25/0562 – Proposed replacement children’s play area at Tredegar House, Pencarn Way.
App No: 25/0563 – Retention of signage to the front and sides of the shop front canopy at 164 Commercial Street.
App No: 25/0564 – Listed building consent for the display of signage on the front and sides of the shop front canopy at 165 Commercial Street.
App No: 25/0592 – S73 application to vary condition 1 (approved plans) of 23/0385. S73 application to vary conditions 1(approved plans) and 2 (site investigation and risk assessment) of 22/0823 installation of a 230mw battery energy storage system (BESS), amendments include installation of fire water tanks, raising levels of banked compound, adjustments to attenuation pond position, substation building locations and Plateau earthworks at Land at Uskmouth Power Station, West Nash Road.

www.newport.gov.uk/planningonline – until 30/8/2025. Any comments should be made via the planning database by searching for the relevant application (quoting the application number) and then clicking ‘comment on this application’.
Alternatively, they may be made in writing to the Head of Regeneration and Economic Development, Newport City Council, Civic Centre, Newport South Wales, NP20 4UR. All comments should be received within 21 days of this notice. Any comments received will be in the public domain and may be published on the Council’s website along with your address.
