What is planned?

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following planning applications for development in the Borough, which are hereby advertised.

The Town and Country Planning

(England) Order 2015 (Article 15).

THE PROPOSAL BELOW IS ADVERTISED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. Affects a Conservation area

2. Affects the setting of a Conservation area

  • 8 Wapping, Ormesby St Margaret W Scratby; Retrospective application for the Variation of Condition 2 of pp 06/24/0245/HH (Two-storey side extension and new dormers to front and rear) – Amendment to approved plans to introduce a new rear dormer roof extension to enlarge the approved bathroom. Application No: 06/25/0534/VCF (1)

  • The Ocean Tides, The Holway, Winterton-on-sea; Refurbishment and extension of gravel drive to provide larger parking area and site access. Application No: 06/25/0489/HH (1)

  • 18-20 Quay Road, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth; Construction of a first floor balcony and balustrades to the side elevation on the storeroom roof; Replacement windows. Application No: 06/25/0590/HH (1)

  • The Shopping Precinct, High Street, Gorleston; Removal of brick slips at high level and replacement with PVC cladding. Application No: 06/25/0579/F (2)

Written representations should be sent to plan@great-yarmouth.gov.uk no later than 29th August 2025 quoting the application number. All representations will be recorded on a public file, be viewable on the Council's website, and will be referred to the Secretary of State’s inspector in the event of an appeal.
