NEWTON COMMON
Form Properties Limited has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Newton Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works comprise the excavation and re-surfacing of an accessway and footpath of a 167 sqm existing hard standing area with drainage, kerbs and laying utilities, the creation of a further 83 sqm of hard standing adjoining the existing access and footpath, the conversion of a 7 sqm existing track to grass verge and the placing of appropriate temporary fencing around the works during construction.
These works will be located on the existing farm track south of Kareith Drive and southeast of the C72.
