What is planned?

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990 THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)

Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:

1. The site of the application is within/affecting the setting of a designated Conservation Area (Section 73) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
2.  The application relates to, or affects the setting of a Listed Building (Section 67) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
3. The application is for a Major Development;

MC/25/1559 Land at Town Road, Cliffe Woods, Rochester, Medway Reason 3    
Variation of condition 1 (Approved plans) on planning permission MC/22/3020 - to revise approved layout to accommodate the revised configuration of affordable homes.

MC/25/1530 Commissioners House, Main Gate Road, Historic Dockyard, Chatham
Reason 1  Reason 2  
Removal existing external timber stairway from the North end of the existing historic balcony and construction of an enclosed platform lift together with relocation of the original stairway with associated modifications.

MC/25/1500 Upper Mount Car Park, Old Road, Chatham, Medway Reason 1  Reason 2  Reason 3
Construction of a three-storey block comprising of 21 apartments with associated parking, communal garden, access and landscaping.

MC/25/1373 10 North Street, Strood, Rochester, Medway Reason 2  
Listed building consent for replacement of the damaged wall.

MC/25/1523 St Helens Church, Buttway Lane, Cliffe, Rochester
Reason 1  Reason 2  
Construction of single storey part rear extension to provide an enclosed access porch and toilets for the church.

MC/25/1477 The Corn Exchange, 2 Northgate, Rochester, Medway Reason 1  Reason 2
Listed building consent for the construction of replastering of walls and decoration.
