What is planned?
Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland)
Amendment Regulations 2021.
Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) – Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant
Major development comprising proposed new residential with associated landscaping, access, parking and other works at Carlisle Road, Blackwood, South Lanarkshire.
A public consultation event will take place on Thursday 21st August between 11am and 7pm at Blackwood & Kirkmuirhill Community Wing, Carlisle Road, Blackwood, ML11 9SB.
During this event, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions and receive feedback on the proposals.

If you wish to make comments on the proposals, you may do so at the event or by email to the above email address by the 12th of September 2025.
This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to South Lanarkshire Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to South Lanarkshire
Council, statutory neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
