NOTICE OF PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION PUBLIC EVENT

Murihall Energy Limited are exploring the potential for a Battery Energy Storage System development
(Phase 2) on land to the north of Leadhills Road (B7040), west of Elvanfoot, Biggar, South Lanarkshire.

Public Exhibition events are being held for the purposes of community consultation for this possible development proposal. The first event will take place on Thursday 21st August 2025 and is being held at Crawford Village Hall, 100 Carlisle Road, Crawford, Biggar, ML12 6TW between the hours of 15:30-19:30.

You are able to make comment on the proposals directly to the developer at this stage, either at the
above event, by email to

and in writing to Elvanfoot Project Team, 3rd Floor, Maxim 10, Parklands Road, Motherwell, ML1 4WQ. These comments must be submitted no later than 6th September 2025. Further comments will be accepted following the second exhibition event in September.

Please note that all comments must be sent to the developer to the contact details stated above and
not to South Lanarkshire Council. Comments submitted to Muirhall Energy Ltd are not representations to South Lanarkshire Council. There will be an opportunity to make representations to South Lanarkshire Council as and when a formal planning application for the proposal is submitted.
