What is planned?

HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL
Town And Country Planning Act 1990 - Planning Permission Is Sought For The Following:
25/1070/FUL/LP: Land Opposite Junction With Butterfly Lane And East Of Watling Street, Radlett. The construction and operation of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and associated infrastructure including battery container units, medium voltage stations, 132 kV substation, 33 kV converter switchgear, DNO control room, storage and welfare containers, CCTV cameras, fencing including acoustic fence, access tracks, water storage tank and landscaping. Reason: Major Development and Public Right of Way.
Plans may be inspected by visiting our website at www.hertsmere.gov.uk/planning, at the Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood (during normal office hours). Comments in writing, quoting the appropriate reference, to the Head of Planning at the Borehamwood offices within 21 days from the publication of this notice or 30 days if relating to an EIA, Departure from the Local Plan or affecting a Public Right of Way.
Under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any comments you wish to make in relation to this planning application will be held on a statutory register, which will be available for inspection at the Council Offices.
If an appeal is made against the refusal of a householder planning permission, which will be dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
