TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS CLIFFORD BRIDGE ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council (“the Council”), under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intends to make a temporary Order the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from travelling at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour (MPH) on that part of Clifford Bridge Road commencing at its junction with Dorchester Way and continuing to its junction with Brinklow Road.

The Order would take effect from 00.01 hours on Friday 15th August 2025 and is required to ensure worker and public safety while works to the Clifford Bridge Road Cycle Way are ongoing.

The Order would remain in effect for a maximum duration of 18 months to allow for unexpected events or until the said works are completed. It is expected the works would be completed by 30th April 2026 and at that point the Order would lapse.

Exemptions to the Order would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform; and
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS OLD CHURCH ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council (“the Council”), under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intends to make a temporary Order the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along that part of Old Church Road between its junctions with Bellview Way and Hall Green Road.

The Order would take effect from 07:00 hours on 18 August 2025 and is required to enable drainage works to be undertaken safely. The Order would be in effect from 07.00 hours to 16.00 hours each day whilst in operation.

The Order would remain in effect for a maximum duration of 18 months to allow for unexpected events or until the said works are completed. It is expected the works would be completed by Friday 29th August 2025 and at that point the Order would lapse.

Diversion routes would be sign posted where appropriate and access to premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in front of a property.

Exemptions to the Order would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; (d) local vehicular access

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS WOODRIDGE AVENUE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Woodridge Avenue from the One Stop Shop for 60 metres toward Ridge Court to such extent when prescribed signs are displayed.

The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 18 August 2025 and is required to enable the installation of a speed table, carriageway resurfacing and associated works on Woodridge Avenue to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed 20 August 2025.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure would be sign posted on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; (d) reasonable local vehicular access to Woodridge Avenue.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS SADLER ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Sadler Road from its junction with Radford Road to its Junction with Foster Road to such extent when prescribed signs are displayed.

The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 18 August 2025 and is required to enable critical maintenance of gas main and associated works on Sadler Road to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed 22 August 2025.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure would be sign posted on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; 
(d) reasonable local vehicular access to Sadler Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
