Diversion Order application to implement diversion to Public Footpath M23, granted under planning permission PAP/2023/0567 dated 22/05/2024

The above Order, made on 17 January 2025 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, and MADE on the 20th May 2025 the order will DIVERT that section of Public Footpath.

The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath running westwards across the field from the existing farm gate on Haunch Lane and then northwards where there is a vehicular access on Blackgreaves Lane. This runs for a distance of around 420m in length.

The proposed footpath is proposed to be accessed from the current position on Haunch Lane. This would then run southwards for around 250 metres inside the field, it would then run westwards for around 520 metres parallel to the footpath M14, then northwards around the proposed bund and Blackgreaves Farm where it would rejoin the highway at the current position on Blackgreaves Lane, this is for around 450m. The footpath diversion in total would measure just over 1200m in length. The footpath is proposed to measure 2 metres wide as shown on the order map.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing (or email) within 28 days of this notice (4th September 2025). An Order and the Order Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of the North Warwickshire Borough Council, The Council House, South Street, Atherstone, CV9 1DE between 9.00am and 5.00pm weekdays and online at www. northwarks.gov.uk using reference PRE/2024/0089. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing (or email). Please state the grounds on which they are made. Representations or objections may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making representations or objections would also be made publicly available. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Warwickshire Borough Council may confirm the Order as unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
