PRE-APPLICATION COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

Proposal: A new 110/33kV Cluster Substation with associated works.

Location: Lands directly south of the junction of Cam Road and Ringsend Road, Limavady (approximately 400m west of 153 Ringsend Road, Limavady BT49 0QN).



Further to previous consultation, including a public consultation event in Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre on 26th June 2025, an additional period of online consultation will be carried out with respect to this proposal to comply with new statutory regulations.

The additional online public consultation, lasting 28 days, will run between Friday 8th August and Friday 5th September 2025. Information on the proposal can be accessed by visiting the SONI Consultation Portal at

The Pre-Application Community Consultation process provides an opportunity for the public to view plans for this proposed development and provide feedback before a planning application is submitted to the Council.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to the Council, normal neighbourhood notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
