What is planned?

A copy of the application(s) described below as submitted to the Council may be inspected during normal office hours at Solihull Connect, Library Square, Touchwood, Solihull. Any written representations in respect of the proposals
must be made within 21 days of publication of this Notice to the Head of Development & Regulatory Management at the address below quoting the application number concerned. The application plans may be amended before decision, but only if the Council considers the amendments substantial will representors be notified.

REF No: PL/2025/01366/PPOL Location: Land West Of Stratford Road Hockley Heath Solihull Reason: Major Development Development: Outline planning application for up to 80 dwellings and associated infrastructure, with all matters reserved except access including the demolition of 2210 & 2212 Stratford Road to form new access.

REF No: PL/2025/01371/MINFHO Location: Old School House St. Peters Lane Bickenhill Solihull B92 ODP Reason: Conservation Area Development: Demolition of existing flat roof carport and formation of a ground floor rear extension with associated internal modifications. Infilling of front covered space.

(Solihull Half Marathon) (Road Closures) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025

The Council gives notice that it intends to make the above Order under Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991) and in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994, being satisfied that all traffic should be restricted or prohibited to ensure that the Solihull Half Marathon can be undertaken in safety. On Sunday 10th August 2025 between 0730hrs to 1300hrs the following road closures will be in operation as the event passes these locations: New Road, Widney Manor Road, Smiths Lane, Browns Lane, Tilehouse Green Lane, Longdon Road, Lodge Road, A4141 Warwick Road, Hampton Road, Knowle Road, Barston Lane, Hob Lane, Elvers Green Lane and B4101 Kenilworth Road. And including ALL single point of entry/exit side roads at their junctions with the above roads which lead onto the route course and they, as such, will have no or limited access for the duration of the anticipated timings of the event stages. Pedestrian access to all properties along the route or within the restrictions will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. Access will be

Moorend Avenue, Chelmsley Wood - Proposed Pedestrian (Zebra) Crossings

Notice is hereby given that the Council, in accordance with Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, intends to construct and commission two new Pedestrian (Zebra) Crossing facilities on Moorend Avenue, Chelmsley Wood - (i) just north of Ely Close and (ii) just south of Willow Way. A copy of the draft scheme, together with a map and details of the Council’s reasons for proposing it, may be obtained via https://www.solihull.gov.uk/Roads-pavements-and-streetcare//Traffic-regulation-orders or by written request from the address below or inspected at Solihull Connect, The Core, Theatre Square, Touchwood, Solihull during normal opening hours. Anyone wishing to object to the scheme should apply in writing to tro@solihull.gov.uk or to Mr L Stevenson, Legal & Democratic Services at the address given below, stating the grounds on which the objection is being made by 15 August 2025.
