PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS & CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990
The following applications have been made to the City Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts.
25F/1935 & 25L/1973 - 40 Upper Parliament Street (8) Applicant Roman Summer Associates Ltd. Change of use from a mental health inpatient residential institution (24 bedrooms and 35 staff) Use Class C2] to a young persons' supported living residential institution comprising 30 en suite bedrooms, communal rooms and ancillary support staff office space / facilities, and associated internal reconfiguration/alterations.
25H/1827 - 190 Halewood Road (25) Applicant Thomas Guy. To retain replacement of existing boundary fence.
25L/1927 - St Georges Hall, Lime Street (1) Applicant Alan Morrow, Liverpool City Council. To carry out external alterations to Grade I Listed St Georges Hall, modifying existing external railings to south portico and east façade to install additional fall and safety measures.
25F/1796 & 25L/1797 - 83 Lord Street (2) Applicant Vabeld UK Ltd. To erect sub-station and structure to ground floor through to basement level at rear and install 2 no. doors and ventilation louvre to rear.
25F/1887 - Land at Buildings at 11-14 Waterloo Road and 1 Greenock Street (3) Applicant Mr Dave Little, Davos Property Developments Ltd. To erect 28 storey residential building comprising of 255 no. dwellings and commercial use at ground floor following demolition of existing buildings, to install car park and associated works including landscaping.
24O/1181 - Land at Pighue Lane (13) Applicant Mr T Kilroe, Bethel Group. Outline application with layout, scale and access for the erection of 2 no. three storey blocks for 15 no. residential apartments Amended plans and amended description.
The applications can be viewed at https://liverpool.gov.uk/ planning-and-building-control/ Any comments you want to make must be received by 21st August 2025 and can be made online or in writing to the Director of Planning & Building Control, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH.
In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, for a householder application only, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage. Please note that any comments sent can be seen by members of the public, including the applicant.
