What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated:

Application No: ZA25/26662/HH.

Proposal: Erection of river defence boundary wall and fence (retrospective) for Mr Christopher Mark Faraday.

Location: Ivy Cottage Bank Bottom Ingleton LA6 3HA

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27145/LBC.

Proposal: Listed building consent for 14 replacement windows for AMOS NELSON Ltd.

Location: 22 Gledstone Road West Marton BD23 3UE

Reason: Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA25/27165/HH.

Proposal: Householder permission for an air source heat pump for Mr Sean Reynolds.

Location: Hill Croft House Booth Bridge Lane Thornton In Craven BD23 3TE

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27170/FUL.

Proposal: Full planning permission for the refurbishment and part re-construction of ground floor bakery and change of use to first floor, from Liberal Club to two domestic apartments. Construction of external fire escape stairwell. Ground floor bakery with Liberal Club at first floor. Installation of roof-mounted solar panels to front and rear elevations for Thomas Marshall.

Reason: Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA25/27189/HH.

Proposal: Householder permission for solar panels to south facing roof for Eric and Patricia Ward.

Location: 1 Greenfoot Croft Commercial Street Settle BD24 9RE

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27187/LBC.

Proposal: Listed building consent for rebuilding parapet and associated works for the North Yorkshire Council.

Location: Settle Road to Newton Grange Bank Newton BD23 3NT

Reason: Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA25/27168/VAR.

Proposal: Section 73 application to vary condition no. 2 (Approved Plans) of application granted under decision reference 2022/24273/FUL to change plots 9-10 of 4-bed semi-detached dwellings and associated parking to 3-bed dwellings for H Wooler & Co Ltd.

Location: Land Off The A65, Grosvenor Gardens, Skipton

Application No: ZA25/27177/FUL.

Proposal: Full planning permission for the formation of two windows openings for Mr J Mounsey.

Location: Unit 8A Industrial Estate The Sidings Settle

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 21st August 2025.

All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
