What is planned?

Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021.

Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) - Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant

Demolition of existing buildings on site and erection of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (Sui Generis) and short-stay (non-term time) accommodation (Sui Generis); with active ground floor uses (Class 1A, 3, 4) and snooker hall and gym (Class 11) and associated landscaping, amenity, access and other ancillary works at 93-113 St George's Road. The final public consultation event will take place on Thursday 7th August 2025 between 3pm and 7pm at Woodside Library, 343 St George's Rd, Glasgow G3 6JQ.

During this event, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions and receive feedback on the proposals.

This is the final consultation event which is to be held in relation to the project. This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Glasgow City Council, statutory neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
