T1, Monterey Pine: remove dead and hanging limbs in canopy. Shorten 2 no. declining limbs, on north eastern aspect arising at approximately 10m and 11m above ground level respectively, to live growth 1.5m distal from main stem; reduce eastern aspect of mid canopy by 1-2m, maximum diameter cuts of 50mm.

T2, Monterey Pine: remove deadwood.

T3, Monterey Pine: remove deadwood and hanging branch.

T4, Monterey Pine: remove deadwood; cut stubs left by branch failures back to source on main stem;

T5, Monterey Pine: reduce upper eastern canopy by 1-2m, making maximum diameter of cuts of 50mm; remove deadwood.

T6, Monterey Pine: reduce western, eastern and southern aspects by 1-2m, making maximum diameter of cuts of 50mm; remove deadwood.

Proposal:

T2: Holm Oak – reduce weight of branch over bench by removing two descending branches directly over bus stop sign making 40mm pruning cuts. Remove southerly growing section of fork at 7m above ground also over bus stop sign.

T3: Holm Oak – second lowest limb over road; where this branch forks at 1m from the stem, remove lighter, lower branch from the western fork where it divides at edge of highway. Crown raise rest of crown to give 5.5m clearance over road.

T5: Holm Oak – reduce branch over entrance to Clyst Centre by removing three descending branches towards tips of branch making pruning cuts of around 40mm in diameter. Crown raise remaining crown to give 5.5m clearance over road.

T6: Sweet Chestnut – removal of deadwood.

T8: Oak – crown lift to give 5.5m clearance above road.
