The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:

The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Ashton In Makerfield Town Centre.

A/25/098976/FULL NatWest 65 Gerard Street Ashton-in-Makerfield Wigan. Change of use from bank (Use Class E(c)) to a café/bar (Use Class E(b)) at ground level and an 11 person, 6 bedroom House in Multiple Occupation (Use Class C4) at first and second floor together with associated external alterations including rooflights to sides, replacement timber and upvc windows, new timber and upvc window openings to front and sides, new door opening to side, 2 metre high wall with railings and bin store to side, timber screen cladding to rear/side of outdoor space, 0.9 metre high bollards and seating area to front and external fascia lighting. A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.

A/25/099234/MAJOR Abram Bryn Gates Primary School Lily Lane Bamfurlong Wigan. Erection of new 1.2 to 3.2 metre high internal fencing and gates.
