What is planned?

(U817N MARCHFIELD MOUNT) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U817n o/s No.2 Marchfield Mount, Dumfries from 0930 – 2100 on 04/08/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water ironwork repair works. No alternative route available. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U377N GLENMIDGE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U377n at the Cottage, Glenmidge, Auldgirth from 8am on 05/08/25 – 7pm on 12/08/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate replacement of water connection to property. Alternative route available via U377n, C125n, U377n and vice versa. Emergency access will not be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(A780 GALLOWAY STREET) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) No. 2 ORDER 2025 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the A780 Galloway Street, Dumfries, between Glasgow Street and Howgate Street from 8am on 04/08/25 – 7pm on 08/08/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate installation of a new gas service. Alternative route available via Glasgow Street, A75(T), Castle Douglas Road, Cassalands, Laurieknowe and vice versa. Emergency access will not be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
