REASON FOR INQUIRY – Appeals by Gladman Developments Ltd Relating to the applications to Cherwell District Council for:

–  The erection of up to 60 dwellings with public open space, landscaping and sustainable drainage system (SuDS) and vehicular access point. All matters reserved except for means of access, and

–  Outline planning application for the erection of up to 60 dwellings with public open space, landscaping, sustainable drainage system (SuDS) and vehicular access point. All matters reserved except for means of access at Tadmarton Road, Bloxham

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening on the date shown above to decide the appeals.

I give notice that Ainscough Strategic Land Limited has applied to Cherwell District Council on 14th April 2025 for ‘Outline application for the demolition of existing building and development of up to 120 dwellings (Use Class C3) alongside open space, sustainable drainage and ancillary infrastructure. All Matters Reserved except for primary means of vehicular access from Barford Road’. This application is being advertised as a Departure from the Local Plan under The Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 2015.

The application, plans and other documents submitted with the application are available to view at Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD between the hours of 8.45am-5.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive during the period of 21 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Remove the bitumen felt and battens and replace as required with new breathable felt and insulate with sheets wool as possible. New treated timber battens as required. New rainwater goods as required to replace with the metal or plastic goods as already on the building but with wide flow. Repointing works to the stone and replacement stone where perished. In particular the large chimney has perished entirely and requires rebuilding in the Hornton stone. This has been dismantled and is being rebuilt like for like.
