NOTICE IS HEREBY Given that the Regulation 16 consultation on the Welwyn Neighbourhood Plan will take place between 21st July 2025 and 1st September 2025.
Welwyn Parish Council has submitted its Neighbourhood Plan under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 to Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. This means that Welwyn Parish Council is proposing to produce a Neighbourhood Development Plan for their designated neighbourhood plan area.
In line with the requirements of Regulation 16, WHBC are now consulting on this plan.
Consultation starts on 21st July 2025 and ends on 1st September 2025.

You can also submit comments/representations via this link, or via email, to planningpolicy@welhat.gov.uk, or by post to Planning Policy & Implementation, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6AE.
The Plan can also be viewed at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council Offices (The Campus, Welwyn Garden City), Welwyn Library and Welwyn Parish Council Offices, during normal opening hours. A response form may be requested by calling 01707 357573.
Your comments may be made publicly available, subject to protection of your personal data. We will store any personal data in line with our privacy statement: https://www.welhat.gov.uk/policies/privacy-notice.
All representations made, including details of how to contact you, will be passed on to the Neighbourhood Plan Independent Examiner, who may wish to contact you for points of clarification during the examination. By submitting your representation, you are agreeing to this process. Personal data will only be used for the purposes of the Neighbourhood Plan examination.
When submitting your comments, you may ask to be notified of the local planning authority's decision under regulation 19 in relation to "making" the neighbourhood development plan.
