What is planned?

Borough of Telford & Wrekin

Telford & Wrekin Council has received the following planning applications which require publication.


TWC/2025/0269 & TWC/2025/0270 – 71 High Street, Newport – Change of use from Retail (Use Class E) to a Micro-Pub (Use Class Sui Generis) and minor external alterations and restoration of the exterior of the ground floor frontage of the building (Part-Retrospective) (Full Planning Application & Listed Building Application)

TWC/2025/0458 – 139 High Street, Newport – Replacement of 1no. rear fire door, 2no. ground floor rear sash windows, 2no. first floor front and rear oval windows and 4no. conservation roof lights

TWC/2025/0460 – The Park Hotel, 12 Whitchurch Road, Wellington – Redecoration of existing public house external walls including colour changes

TWC/2025/0461 – 2 Woodview, Woodside, Coalbrookdale – Installation of an external handrail and modification of existing external steps

TWC/2025/0480 – Site of Former The Wrekin Endeavour Centre, North Road, Wellington – Erection of 40no. affordable dwellings with associated parking and amenity space

Written representations can be made on planning online or by email at

planning.control@telford.gov.uk

and need to be received by 14 August 2025 (14 days for public service infrastructure development or permission in principle applications), excluding public/bank holidays and 30 days for applications accompanied by an environmental statement from the date of this publication.
If a written representation appeal is made to the Secretary of State for a householder or minor commercial application no further representations can be made and existing representations will be forwarded to them.
