Notice of proposed development/works at (a) 129 Manchester Road, Nelson. 25/0458/FUL Full: Part retention of function room (Use Class F2 b) at first floor, conversion of ground floor from a Pub (Sui Generis) to 1 no. flat (Use Class C3) and a Restaurant (Use Class E(b)), alterations to frontage, insertion of shutters and the installation of an extraction flue to the side. The proposal is within the St Marys Conservation Area and the Whitefield Conservation Area.

(b) The Old Barn, Lane Top, Winewall. 25/0451/HHO Full: Erection of new staircase from first to second floor with bathroom and attic room, removal of timber post and steel beam insertion, replacement timber windows and 2 no. rooflights. The proposal is within the Trawden Forest Conservation Area and the Winewall and Cotton Tree Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (c) The Old Cart House, Higham Hall Road, Higham. 25/0436/HHO Full: Erection of a detached annexe. The proposal is within the Higham Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (d) Land to the North of 249 Keighley Road, Colne. 25/0426/HHO Full: Formation of 3 no. parking bays to rear garden area. The proposal is within the Lidgett and Bents Conservation Area. As these are householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about these applications will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.

The proposal affects a Listed Building. (g) Catlow Farmhouse, Southfield Lane, Southfield. 25/0463/LBC Listed Building Consent: Installation of replacement stone window head to gable elevation. The proposal affects a Listed Building. The proposal is within the Southfield Conservation Area. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 8 August 2025. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details.
