This is a Grade 1 Listed Building known as Wentworth Woodhouse

This is a Grade 2 Listed Building known as Newman School
RB2025/0921 - Listed Building Consent for internal and external alterations at Newman Additional Resource East Bawtry Road Whiston for Rotherham MBC

APPEAL HEARING

Appeal against refusal of planning permission for Erection of 100mw battery storage facility, creation of bund and associated earthworks and other associated works, at land off, Moat Lane, Wickersley for Harmony TC Limited

Planning Inspectorate/Appeal Reference: APP/P4415/W/25/3365059

Appeal Starting Date: 04/06/2025

An appeal has been made to the Planning Inspectorate, (Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government), in respect of the above site. The appeal follows the refusal of planning permission by the Borough Council and is to be decided on the basis of a Hearing. The Hearing is due to take place on Tuesday 14th October 2025 at Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham S60 1AE.
The Hearing will commence at 10am and is schedule to last a day.

If you made written comments regarding the original application for planning permission, these will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and copied to the appellant (unless you expressly asked for confidentiality) and will be taken into account by the Inspector in deciding the appeal.

(i) withdraw or modify any written comments made earlier.

(ii) make new written comments at this stage.

(iii) request a copy of the appeal decision letter.
