What is planned?

NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning

(Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning

(Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning

(Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA25/27093/FUL

Proposal: Full planning permission for conversion of existing flat roof to a roof terrace along with associated alterations for Thornton Hill Ltd

Location: Thornton Hill Nursing Home Church Road Thornton In Craven BD23 3TN

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27076/FUL

Proposal: Full planning permission for the installation of three new windows into the rear facade of the building for Craven College

Location: Craven College Aireville Campus Gargrave Road Skipton BD23 1US

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27107/LBC

Proposal: Listed building consent for the alteration of the elevations of the shippon/former milking shed within the curtilage of Crow Nest Farmhouse, alteration of approved application 2018/19711/LBC for Mr Grant

Location: Crow Nest Crow Nest Road Austwick LA2 8AS

Reason: Proposes works to a Listed Building.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at https://publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 31st July 2025.
