The following planning applications have been received which are for Listed Building Consent and would affect the setting of a Listed Building

1. Planning Permission for installation of rear metal security fence and gate (Listed Building) and Listed Building Consent for removal and relocation of war memorial and stage, replacement of all windows with timber-framed, slim-profile double-glazed units, repair of deteriorated lintel to rear classroom (North elevation), replacement of existing polycarbonate coverings with protective polycarbonate guards to South and gable-end windows, installation of security window grilles to rear elevation, replacement of external timber doors and installation of rear metal security fence and gate at Masjid As-salaam, 4, New Street, Earlsheaton, Dewsbury.  Application Nos. 2025/91547 & 2025/91548.

The following planning applications have been received which are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

2. Change of use of former public house (sui generis) to HMO (C4) at 143, Upper Commercial Street, Batley.  Application No. 2025/91650.

3. Erection of first floor side extension at Kelvin Villa, 1,

Newsome Street, Dewsbury.  Application No. 2025/91657.

4. Erection of 40 dwellings and associated works, including formation of new vehicular access and erection of cricket netting at Land at, Highmoor Lane, Hartshead Moor, Cleckheaton.  Application No. 2025/91542.

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15

The following planning applications have been received which constitute Major Development

5. Outline application, including the consideration of access and layout, for two commercial units (use class B2 and/or B8) and associated works at land off, Forge Lane, Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury.  Application No. 2025/90517.

6. Erection of 40 dwellings and associated works, including formation of new vehicular access and erection of cricket netting at Land at, Highmoor Lane, Hartshead Moor, Cleckheaton.  Application No. 2025/91542.

7. Erection of commercial unit for Use Class B2 with associated office space and parking (inc. visitors, cycle parking and service vehicles) and enclosure of existing concrete yard to form new workshop Use Class B2 at Lafarge Readymix, Lees Hall Road, Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury.  Application No. 2024/93444.
