What is planned?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
Telford & Wrekin Council has received the following planning
applications which require publication.
TWC/2025/0428 – Site of Steeraway Farm, Limekiln Lane, Wellington – Variation of condition 14 (access visibility splay) on
TWC/2021/1071 (Installation of a ground mounted solar farm with continued agricultural use (grazing), ancillary infrastructure and security fencing, landscape provision and ecological enhancements) to allow the reversion of the visibility splay requirement from 120m to 100m
TWC/2025/0430 – Tern Farm, Tern Lane, Longdon On Tern – Erection of 4no. free range egg production units with associated feed bins, manure belts, 2no. water tanks, roof mounted solar panels and creation of hardstandings and vehicular access***Environmental Statement Submitted***
TWC/2025/0435 – Home Farm Cottage, Malt House Bank, Little Wenlock – Erection of 1no. detached covered timber clad carport with habitable accommodation above
TWC/2025/0445 – Longdon Hall Farm, Longdon On Tern – Erection of 1no. self build agricultural workers dwelling
TWC/2025/0448 – Land at junction of Moss Road/Rookery Road, Wrockwardine Wood – Erection of 18no. affordable dwellings with associated landscaping, drainage and access
TWC/2025/0452 – Wellington Market Hall, Market Street, Wellington – Replacement of existing main roof, existing fabric canopy roof over covered outdoor area, existing timber framed glazed panel doors with double glazed steel doors, existing single glazed fixed roof lanterns with double glazed system, expansion of food court area by enclosing an existing outbuilding, improvement works to the vehicle access and hard standing area to include the addition of concrete pavers, repainting of existing painted brick walls and repair, refurbishment or replacement where necessary of the external building fabric

and need to be received by 31 st July 2025 (14 days for public service infrastructure development or permission in principle applications), excluding public/bank holidays and 30 days for applications accompanied by an environmental statement from the date of this publication.
If a written representation appeal is made to the Secretary of State for a householder or minor commercial application no further representations can be made and existing representations will be forwarded to them
