Have your say on the emerging development proposals for the site of the former Warren Park Children’s Centre on Kingston Hill.
The site has been vacant for over three years and proposals are now being brought forward for a new healthcare facility.
The proposals include the demolition of the existing buildings and the delivery of a specialist rehabilitation centre providing pre- and post-operative care for patients recovering from surgery. The facility would provide circa 50 bed spaces with state-of-the-art facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, physiotherapy, consulting and treatment rooms, dining and lounge areas and associated support facilities within a landscaped garden providing sensory and wellness support.
The scheme is being brought forward by The Geoghegan Group, a family-owned and operated residential care business that has operated in Surrey for over 30 years. The Geoghegan Group already operates The Clavadel, a similar facility in Guildford which has been providing post-operative rehabilitation care for over a decade.
