What is planned?
CONSULTATION ON A DRAFT REVISED LIST OF LOCAL VALIDATION REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with guidance on the review process set out in the national Planning Practice Guidance, the Council are now consulting on proposed changes to the current List of Local Validation Requirements (which sets out what information over and above the national requirements, is necessary to accompany planning applications) following a review of its contents.
This consultation runs from 4th July 2025 until 1st August 2025.
Invites to comment is open to anyone who wishes to make observations.
The list can be viewed on the Council’s website www.newcastle-staffs. gov.uk within the Planning area on the page titled ‘Consultation on a Draft Revised List of Local Validation Requirements’ which is within the Planning Application subsection.
Comments can be submitted by email to planningapplications@ newcastle-staffs.gov.uk or by post to the following address;

Please ensure that you title your email or letter ‘Consultation response on the revised list of validation requirements’ to ensure that it is taken into consideration.
All comments will be duly considered and reported to the Planning Committee for formal resolution and adoption of the final LLVR prior to 1 October 2025.
