What is planned?
North Yorkshire Council, Town & Country Planning Act 1990, Town & Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017, Notice of Determination of a Planning Application Accompanied By An Environmental Statement Under Regulation 30
I give notice that North Yorkshire Council has GRANTED planning permission in respect of the Application for erection of an Asphalt Plant, single storey site office cabin, welfare storage area with associated car parking spaces, aggregate storage bays, widening of internal access road, proposed bund / acoustic barrier, lighting, associated hardstanding & removal of trees at land at Allerton Waste Recovery Park, Harrogate Application Ref no. NY/2022/0208/ENV The application, accompanied by an Environmental Statement, has been determined by the Council. Members of the public may inspect information regarding & copies of the following: (i) the Notice of Decision dated 11/06/25; (ii) the Officer’s report on the application to the Strategic Planning Committee & the environmental information relevant to the decision which together contain; (a) the main reasons and considerations on which the decision is based including information about the participation of the public; (b) the main measures to avoid, reduce & where possible, offset the major effects of the development; & (iii) details regarding the right to challenge the validity of the decision & the procedures for doing so at North Yorkshire Council (Harrogate), Planning Department, Crescent Gardens, Harrogate during normal office hours.
