What is planned?

REDCAR & CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 and Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 

Proposed development at Land bounded by edge of NWL Brans Sands treatment plant & former ICI landfill to south west; Redcar Bulk Terminal to north west line of vegetation Tod Point Road to north east and existing internal roads to south east (R/2025/0382/ESM)

I give notice that Tees Works Ltd are applying to REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL for Reserved Matters Application (appearance, landscaping, layout, access & scale) following the outline planning application R/2020/0821/ESM details of the first reserved matters for which consent are outlined in the Planning and EIA Compliance Statement.

Anyone who wishes to make representation about the above applications should write to the Council at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Development Management, Kirkleatham Street, Redcar, TS10 1RT or by email to planning_admin@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk by 27 July 2025. Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans, environmental statement and other documents submitted with the application online at www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk until the 27 July 2025 and may obtain copies of the environmental statement from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council by contacting planning_admin@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk.

TAKE NOTICE that the Borough Council has received the following planning applications and listed building consents (LBC) submitted under The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990: 

* R/2025/0377/CA: Demolition of garage; alterations to dwelling including replacement roof; creation of utility; replace bay window to front; reinstate front bay window to first floor at 24 Belmangate, Guisborough 

* R/2025/0385/CA: Replacement of rear window with bi-fold doors; raised terrace; alterations to access gates, increase height of side boundary wall; EV charger to side at 44 Hilda Place, Saltburn

*R/2025/0391/CA: Demolition of single storey extension & garage; erection of single storey rear extension; replace bay window with access door; new boundary wall & fence at 1 Bristol Avenue, Saltburn 

* R/2025/0412/CA: Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of planning approval R/2021/1014/CA for amended design and layout at 2 Exeter Street, Saltburn 

* R/2025/0415/CA: Single storey rear extension with balcony above at 16 Diamond Street, Saltburn *As the above applications are householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment.

R/2025/0210/CA: Single storey rear extension at Genix Healthcare, 16 The Wynd, Marske

R/2025/0235/CA: Provision of dwelling to plot 3 (amended scheme) Land off Union Street, Guisborough. 

R/2025/0362/CA: Traditional hardwood timber shop front at 5 Westgate, Guisborough 

R/2025/0363/CA: Hardwood timber shop front including canopy and alterations to first floor bay window at 8 Fountain Street, Guisborough 

R/2025/0380/CA: Single storey side extension at Brockley Hall, Glenside, Saltburn

R/2025/0405/LB: LBC for retention of concrete tiled roof replacing previous concrete tiles at Flat 4, 2 Balmoral Terrace, Saltburn.

R/2025/0428/VCM: Variation of condition 1 on application R/2020/0025/RMM to update approved plans; substitution of house types; increase of 14 (3 bed) houses and decrease of 5 (4 bed) houses; 9 (5 bed) houses; minor alterations to the landscape designs at Land to the South of Marske bounded by Longbeck Road , A1085 & A174, Redcar

R/2025/0395/FFM: Residential development comprising 87 dwellings with associated works at Land South of Alford Road and West of Kilton Lane, Brotton 

R/2025/0427/VCM: Variation of condition 1 on application R/2020/0025/RMM to update approved plans; substitution of house types; increase of 8 (3 bed) houses & decrease of 8 (4 bed) houses; minor alterations to landscape designs at Land to the South of Marske bounded by Longbeck Road , A1085 & A174, Redcar 

R/2025/0428/VCM: Variation of condition 1 on application R/2020/0025/RMM to update approved plans; substitution of house types; increase of 14 (3 bed) houses and decrease of 5 (4 bed) houses; 9 (5 bed) houses; minor alterations to the landscape designs at Land to the South of Marske bounded by Longbeck Road , A1085 & A174, Redcar 

R/2025/0429/VCM: Variation of condition 1 (approved plans) on application R/2024/0196/ RMM to update approved plans; substitution of house types; increase of 23 (3 bed) houses and decrease of 8 (2 bed) houses & 15 (4 bed) houses at Land at Low Grange Farm, South Bank.

Anyone who wishes to make representations on the above should make them in writing to the Section within 21 days of the date of this publication. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any representations made are available for public inspection.
