NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTIONS 257 AND 261(2)
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 11 (PART) - PARISH OF FOREMARK) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025

On 08 May 2025, Derbyshire County Council confirmed the above order. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert temporarily the whole width of that part of Foremark Public Footpath No. 11 commencing at Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) SK 3307 2748) at its junction with Foremark Footpath No 9 and proceeding in a generally east north-easterly direction for approximately 6 metres, then in an east south-easterly direction for approximately 314 metres to point B (GR SK 3337 2736) then in a south south-easterly direction for approximately 203 metres to Point C (GR SK 3342 2716), a total distance of 523 metres or thereabouts, to a 2 metre wide compacted stone surfaced footpath on the north side of a watercourse on land near Inglesby Road in the Parish of Foremark, commencing from the aforementioned Point C (GR SK 3342 2716) and proceeding for approximately 71 metres in a generally westerly direction crossing over a water course and to a field boundary at Point D (GR SK 3335 2715) then in a generally west northwesterly direction for a distance of approximately 272 metres to point E (GR SK 3310 2726) and finally in a south westerly direction for approximately 10 metres to point F (GR SK 3309 2725) at its junction with Foremark Footpath No 9, a total distance of 353 metres or thereabouts, as shown on the Order map. 

A copy of the Confirmed Order and map are available to view on the Council website at: www.derbyshire.gov.uk/rightsofwaynotices. Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00, or at Swadlincote Library, Civic Way, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 0AD during normal opening hours. The order came into force on 08 May 2025 but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of those purposes under Sections 257 and 261(2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published.
