What is planned?
Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 Notice under Regulation 25: Further information in relation to the planning application and environmental statement has been provided by the applicant, as detailed below
Proposed development at: Shepperton Quarry, Littleton Lane, Shepperton, Surrey TW17 0NF
Brett Aggregates Limited has applied to Surrey County Council for planning permission for The continued restoration of the former mineral workings without compliance with planning permission ref: STA789/6 dated 19 August 1955 as amended by decision ref: SP98/0643 dated 28 February 2012 to extend the duration of time and to amend the restoration plan set out in Conditions 1, 2 and 22 of SP98/0643, including additional information.
Further information in relation to the planning application and environmental information in response to a request under Regulation 25 of the Regulations (“further environmental information”), and not in response to a request under Regulation 25 of the Regulations (“other environmental information”), in relation to the Environmental Statement (ES) has been submitted by the applicant.
The “further environmental information” comprises Ecological Briefing Note by Bioscan UK dated 17 October 2024, Flood Technical Note 20-067-002 Rev A dated March 2023, Shepperton/Laleham Summary of Water Quality Monitoring (January 2006 - February 2024) and Monitoring of suspended sediment and other parameters from the working of Home Farm and Home Farm Extension Quarries from 2013 dated 16 April 2024.
The information in relation to the planning application and “other environmental information” in relation to the Reg 25 ES comprises Waste Management Licence dated 31 January 2002 No. 3688/4, Waste Management Licence Notice of Modification Ref: SCC/3688/4, Email from agent regarding details on screener dated 15 December 2024 and Drawing reference NL08074/PA6 REV Q Restoration Plan dated 04 April 2025.
