25/01189/FUL - 17 Alice Street Sunderland SR2 7AL Mr Vlad Domnica is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Change of use form C3 to 4no. bed student accommodation with installation of French doors to rear offshoot
25/01187/FUL - 22, 23 And 24 Frederick Street Sunderland Vnoutchkov Group is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Change of use of three adjoining terraced properties from predominantly vacant office and retail floorspace (Class E) to three separate Houses of Multiple Occupation (Sui Generis) comprising 6, 6 and 8 bedrooms respectively, with associated internal and external alterations. This relates to a proposal which affects the setting of various listed buildings which are included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest.
25/01174/LBC - 22, 23 And 24 Frederick Street Sunderland. Vnoutchkov Group is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Installation of 3no. roof lights to rear, removal of existing mechanical roller shutters to rear elevation and replacement with brick wall and 2.1 metre high metal gates, removal of single storey extension to rear of no.22, extractor flue to no.23 and flat roof to rear of no.24. Works will also include internal alterations to allow provision of HMO accommodation.
This relates to a Grade II Listed Building and also affects the setting of various listed buildings which are included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.
25/01074/LB3 - Museum and Art Gallery Mowbray Gardens Burdon Road Sunderland SR1 1PP.
Sunderland City Council is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Redevelopment of Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens to include internal reconfiguration and refurbishment of ground floor areas; general refurbishment of other areas of the building. Creation of new galleries and exhibition spaces; new visitor and staff facilities, repair and improvements to building services. New visitor entrance and associated public realm improvements; renewal and insulation of flat roof areas, including new safe access; erection of post and rail balustrade system at base of sloped roof perimeter; installation of fall arrest system to base of glazed roof atop Winter Gardens; and repairs to the windows and other fabric repairs.
This relates to a Grade II Listed Building and also affects the setting of various listed buildings which are included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. The application also relates to development intended to be carried out by the City of Sunderland.
