I GIVE NOTICE THAT the following application is being made to the Council of the Borough of North Tyneside:

37 Queens Road Whitley Bay – APPLICATION NO: 25/00640/CLEXIS
Mr Sean Haswell is applying for planning permission for Replacement of metal skylight in the northwestern facing roof slope of the host dwelling with a ‘like for like’ window, which is the same size as the original window and is flush to the roof.

It is considered that the development proposed may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.


Friends Meeting House 23 Front Street – APPLICATION NO: 25/00617/FUL
Clerk Of The Monkseaton Meeting is applying for planning permission for Variation of condition 1 (approved details) of planning approval 20/00321/FUL in order to make revisions to the approved scheme consisting of: 

Phase 1 – fabric repairs and upgrades to existing building (approach, platform lift, Acc WC and rear access to garden), including rebuilding rear section which contains stairs, WC and kitchen facilities. 

Phase 2 – alterations to rear garden room extension without Party Wall changes.

It is considered that the development proposed may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.

Garden Area At Bath Terrace Tynemouth – APPLICATION NO: 25/00410/FULH
Susan Martin is applying for planning permission for Demolition of existing structures and construction of new garden room.
It is considered that the development proposed may affect the setting of a listed building.


Cemetery House Church Bank Wallsend – APPLICATION NO: 25/00605/FULH
Mr Steven Ilderton is applying for planning permission for Two storey rear extension. Single storey side and rear extensions. 2no. roof lights to northwest facing pitched roof of main dwelling.

It is considered that the development proposed may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.


16 Beech Grove Whitley Bay – APPLICATION NO: 25/00639/FULH
Mrs Leanne Benneworth is applying for planning permission for To provide a dormer window on side hip of existing roof to facilitate stair access into existing roof void.

It is considered that the development proposed may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.

As this is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.

Land At Northumberland Park Way Backworth – APPLICATION NO: 25/00672/FUL
Northumberland Estates is applying for planning permission for Development of retail units (Use Class E), with associated parking, servicing provision and landscaping.

The application is being advertised as it involves major development.

The submitted plans and associated documents are available to view on the Council’s Planning website at www.northtyneside.gov.uk or at our Quadrant East Offices between 0830-1300 Mon & Fri and 1300-1700 Wed.
