WHEATSHEAF COMMON
William Stabb Mills and Jonthan Hugh David Carey of the Highfield Estate have applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006/section 23(2) of the National Trust Act 1971 for retrospective consent to carry out restricted works on Wheatsheaf Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works are: retrospective consent for 410 metres of fencing along the southern perimeter of the Wheatsheaf Common Land and two wooden kissing gates.
A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Liphook Library, 12B London Rd, Liphook GU30 7AN normal office hours until 28th June 2025.
