Further to the notice of an application for consent, under section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989, to construct and operate a wind farm at Bodinglee, to the south of Douglas in South Lanarkshire (South Lanarkshire Council) (Central Grid Reference Bodinglee East = NS 88436 29583, Bodinglee West = NS 85864 27782) and for a direction under Section 57 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted, OnPath Energy (Bodinglee Wind Farm) Limited (formerly Banks Renewables (Bodinglee Wind Farm) Limited) company registration number 12857095, with its Registered Office at (Chase House, 4 Mandarin Road, Houghton le Spring, DH4 5RA), has submitted Further Environmental Information (FEI) to Scottish Ministers supplementing the Bodinglee Wind Farm Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report. The Design Changes include a reduction in the number of turbines (from 37 to 35), reduction in the maximum tip height of nine turbines and infrastructure changes. The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be over 50MW including up to 106 MW of battery storage.

All representations should be received not later than 30 June 2025 although Scottish Ministers may consider representations received after this date.
All previous representations received in relation to this development remain valid.
Any subsequent additional information which is submitted by the Company will be subject to further public notice in this manner and representations to such information will be accepted as per this notice.
Where the Scottish Ministers are required to, or decide to exercise their discretion to do so, they can cause a public inquiry to be held.
Following examination of the environmental information and all views and representations received, the Scottish Ministers will determine this application for consent in one of two ways:
Consent the proposed Development, with or without conditions attached; or
Reject the proposed Development.
