REASON FOR INQUIRY Appeal by Culham Storage Limited

Relating to the application to South Oxfordshire District Council for the development of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), comprising a 500 megawatt (MW) battery storage facility with associated infrastructure, access and landscaping, with a connection into the Culham Jet National Grid substation at Land to the north of the Culham Science Centre, Culham.

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening on the date shown above to decide the appeal. Members of the public may attend the Inquiry and, at the Inspector’s discretion, express their views.
