PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC CONSULTATION

=​The Proposal

Proposed commercial development comprising 8no. industrial units, 1no. bio-methane plant and 1no. car parking lot.

Development includes use of the approved access at Sandholes Road and a new access from Dungannon Road; car parking and yard areas; landscaping; and all other associated site and access works.



=​Site Location

Lands between Sandholes Road and Dungannon Road, including 5 Old Loughry Road; c.175m SE of 20 Sandholes Road; c.200m SE and c.400m south of 17 Strifehill Road; and c.60 metres NW, to rear of 1 to 3 Killycolp Road, Cookstown.



=​Public Consultation Event

We are conducting a Pre-Application Community Consultation for the above proposal. An in-person drop-in event will be held at The Greenvale Hotel, 57 Drum Road, Cookstown, BT80 8QS on Tuesday 3rd June 2025 2:00pm – 7:00pm to allow interested parties to view the display boards for the proposal and provide feedback via printed comment cards.

Members of the consultation team will attend the event to answer any questions that local residents and businesses may have, and to collect feedback on the proposal.

Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Mid Ulster District Council, normal neighbourhood Notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
