What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA25/26943/TPO.

Proposal: Works to trees the subject of a tree preservation order marked on the report as 16, 24 and 27, and covered by TPO 692-25 1982:

– Multiple stems from ground level with included unions where stems meet. Standing dead tree. Fell as low as reasonably possible for Tree 16 Elm

– Ivy covered lower stem and crown has recently been severed at 0.5m. Dieback in central upper crown with associated major deadwood. Hanging broken branches in upper crown. Remove deadwood and broken branches of Tree 24 Sycamore

– Ivy covered lower stem has recently been severed and lower branches have been pruned recently. Dieback in upper crown with associated major deadwood. No basal or stem decay evident. Remove deadwood of Tree 27 Sycamore for South Craven Baptist Church.

Proposal: Permission in principle for 3 no. new dwellings for K Daynes.

Proposal: Householder consent for a proposed entrance/porch extension, replacement of glazing to sunroom with stone cavity wall, windows and double doors, together with external shed and summerhouse.

Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/26910/LBC.

Proposal: Listed building works (retrospective) including: 3 no. replacement windows, refurbishment of all other windows; re-roofing with stone slate; removal of cementitious render and repointing with lime mortar; reinstatement of original front door and rear entrance; part-removal of garden wall; addition of fascia and cast iron rainwater goods; rebuilding of lean-to; replacement oak truss and purlins; replacement floor boards; internal walls re-pointed with lime mortar.

Application No: ZA25/26929/HH.

Proposal: Single-storey side extension for Mr & Mrs Sharp.

Location: Rome Farm Storth Gill Lane To Rome Giggleswick Settle BD24 0JP

Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA25/26930/LBC.

Proposal: Listed building consent for internal alteration for Hellifield Working Mens Club.

Location: Hellifield Working Mens Club Hellifield House Gisburn Road Hellifield North Yorkshire

Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.
