NOTICE OF PREPARATION OF DEVELOPMENT PLAN SCHEME

EAST AYRSHIRE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 3

Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended)

Notice is hereby given that East Ayrshire Council, as required by Section 20B of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended), has prepared a Development Plan Scheme (DPS) which sets out the timetable for the preparation of the East Ayrshire Local Development Plan 3. This includes a participation statement, which sets out how, when and with whom the Council will undertake public engagement on Local Development Plan 3. The DPS and participation statement can be viewed at www.east-ayrshire.gov.uk.

Comments on the participation statement are invited and should preferably be sent by email to localdevelopmentplans@east-ayrshire.gov.uk. They may also be made in writing by addressing them to: Development Planning and Regeneration, East Ayrshire Council, the Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1DD.

Representations must be received by the Council no later than 4pm on Friday 23 May 2025.
