What is planned?

Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15(1A) OF AN APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMANTAL STATEMENT AND UNDER ARTICLE 15(3) OF AN APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION WHICH WOULD AFFECT A RIGHT OF WAY

I give notice that The Milne Trust has applied on 7th April 2025 to Rochdale Borough Council for planning permission to carry out the following development:-

- Outline planning application (with all matters reserved except the means access) for the development of up to 314 residential dwellings (Use Class C3) and employment uses (Use Class B2/B8 including ancillary office space (Use Class E)) comprising up to 13,047sqm Gross External Area together with associated parking, highway infrastructure, works to public rights of way, areas of public open space, landscaping, drainage, ecological enhancements and other works ancillary thereto on land North And East Of Stakehill Industrial Estate, Middleton.

The application is accompanied by an environmental statement and further environmental information and supplementary information in relation to this environmental statement has also been submitted as part of this application. The proposed development would, in the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, affect a right of way to which Part 3 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (public rights of way) applies.

 - And other documents submitted with the application at Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU during all reasonable hours or online at www. Rochdale.gov.uk until 6th June 2025.

Members of the public may obtain copies of the Environmental Statement from: WSP Planning and Consultancy Team, 8 First Street, Manchester, M15 4RP At a charge of £400.
