SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
NOTICE TO EXEMPT LAND FROM ACCESS RIGHTS
Notice is hereby given under section 11(9) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 ("the Act") that on 24th April 2025, having consulted the local access forum, South Ayrshire Council made the South Ayrshire Council (Course Music Festival 2025 – Low Green, Ayr) Exempting Land from Access Rights Order 2025 ("the Order"), under Section 11(1) of the Act.
The effect of the Order is to exempt from the access rights which would otherwise be exercisable by virtue of Part 1 of the Act, the land forming part of the Low Green, Ayr shown on the plan annexed and signed as relative to the Order.
The purpose for which the Order is made is to restrict access to the land to staff and those with tickets for the music festival.
The Order will be effective from 00:00 hours on 02/05/25 until 23:59 hours on 04/05/25 unless revoked earlier and may be viewed on the Council’s website at https://www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/article/28445/Public-notices-and-closures until 6th May 2025.
