TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION) (SCOTLAND) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2021

Notice under regulation 7

Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant

Proposal: Demolition of existing office building to provide purpose built student accommodation (Sui Generis); retail (Class 1A), restaurant (Class 3) and non-residential institutions (Class 10) uses; with associated landscaping, access and infrastructure.

Site Location: 38 Cadogan Street, Glasgow, G2 7LP

The public consultation will commence on Tuesday 6th May 2025 with the first public exhibition event.

Two in-person public exhibition events will take place at 38 Cadogan Street, Glasgow, G2 7LP on: Tuesday 6th May 2025 (3pm–7pm); and, Tuesday 17th June 2025 (3pm–7pm).

Those wishing to make comments on the proposals may do so at the above events and/or in writing to Savills, Planning, 163 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2JJ.

This notice does not relate to a live planning application. Comments on the emerging proposals should be made to the project team and not to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made at this stage are not formal representations to the planning authority in respect of any future planning application.

As part of any future planning application submitted to Glasgow City Council (as planning authority), normal neighbour notification will be undertaken at that time, with opportunity to make formal representations on the proposals.

The above information is in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 (as amended).
