Receipt of further environmental information

Proposed development at

Land to the East of Stratfield Brake and West of Oxford Parkway Railway Station, Oxford Road, Kidlington (24/00539/F)

I give notice that Oxford United Football Club Limited have applied to Cherwell District Council on 26 February 2024 for planning permission for “Erection of a stadium (Use Class F2) with flexible commercial and community facilities and uses including for conferences, exhibitions, education, and other events, club shop, public restaurant, bar, health and wellbeing facility/clinic, and gym (Use Class E/Sui Generis), hotel (Use Class C1), external concourse/fan-zone, car and cycle parking, access and highway works, utilities, public realm, landscaping and all associated and ancillary works and structures”, and the application is accompanied by an environmental statement.

Further information has been received in relation to the environmental statement, comprising a Planning Statement Addendum, a response to Ecology Comments, a response to Security questions raised and a Transport Addendum. A copy of that further information (and the environmental statement material) is available for public inspection at Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD between the hours of 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive for 30 days beginning with the date of this notice. Details of the application are available to view through the Council’s website via the Online Planning Service at https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk.

Please be advised that details of the application may be amended at any time before a final decision is issued, therefore you are advised to monitor the application’s progress via the Online Planning Service where amended plans will be posted. Should you wish to receive updates, please register online using the “Track an Application” option.

Members of the public may obtain copies of the further information by prior appointment from Ridge and Partners LLP, c/o Mr Giles Brockbank (gbrockbank@ridge.co.uk). There may be a cost involved for obtaining a copy of the further information.
